Poipu Sands is next to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, with its top-rated restaurants and lushly landscaped grounds, Shipwreck Beach with the wonderful Maha’ulepu Trail starting just beyond the beach, and Poipu Bay Golf Course. It is only a short walk to Brennecke Beach and the famous Poipu Beach, which is regularly frequented by sea turtles and monk seals, or a quick drive to several other beaches and many top-notch restaurants.
Poipu Sands has multiple grills, a large swimming pool and its own tennis court for the exclusive use of its’ owners and guests, and it shares the resort grounds and walking paths of the Poipu Kai Resort community, including an 8-court tennis and pickleball facility and a community pool and hot tub.
